Celebrity hairdresser and media favourite Errol Douglas was invited this morning to speak on BBC Radio London's Vanessa Feltz programme. Today's big debate was set about by Matthew Parris writer for The Times newspaper who commented that he has not washed his hair for ten years. He said that his hair was clean, smelt good and that if you so wish you could run your fingers through his hair and you will feel something that was as light and fluffy as a kitten's coat.

This sparked a massive debate on the popular morning show and the discussion was based on the question: was shampoo and conditioner really worth its price and could hair be washed simply with water to create the perfect finish. Errol was brought on to add his professional opinion which ended up with him staying on the show for fifteen minutes debating with Vanessa and listeners about why shampoo is essential for everyone.
